ATTENTION All Wine Lovers!

I am pleased to announce that dogisART! is developing a “wine with your poochie” event with Chateau St Croix winery Sunday, June 17th, 2012 from 12-3pm at the beautiful winery grounds in St Croix Falls.

Quadrupeds will enjoy a tasty “Paw Bar” stocked with the best of holistic treats/food & getting their portraits taken by dogisART! photography.  The “Help Portraits” are free and our way of raising awareness of 2 local rescue organizations (TBD) that will benefit from a portion of the profits from the “wine with your poochie” event.

Biped counterparts will have the opportunity to taste 5 internationally awarded Chateau wines selected to accompany the savory catering of Backyard BBQ.  Together, dogs & humans will enjoy scrumptious food & beverages, walking around the winery grounds, mingling with fellow dog lovers, meeting the Top Dogs in the Minneapolis pet business industry & browsing through the hottest new trends in accessories, clothing & dog events.

I will keep everyone informed of ticket information and further event details/vendors after January, when plans are solidified.  Feel free to email me with questions or suggestions :: kris@dogisartphotography.com

CAN’T WAIT!!!

The below images were NOT taken by dogisART!, but rather, found on google images for Chateau St Croix.  They were selected to give readers a quick view of the lovely Chateau St Croix without having to search themselves.

Brandy :: The Fun Police

This was a hard shoot to do.  Brandy, a.k.a. “mama”- my sister’s 12 year old American Bulldog, had to be put down yesterday due to a series of terminal illnesses that were compromising her standard of living.  Brandy loved playing with “her” boys (my 4 nephews)!  But don’t let the playing get too wild with the chance of one getting hurt… She loved nothing more than to police the fun and put kids in the corner, if playtime was getting out of hand.  She truly was the mama of the household & a kind spirit that will be missed.

PhotoBooth Gunner

My boy gun-town has been feeling neglected… he stood in the studio this morning for about 30 minutes, whimpering and waiting for his overdue studio session.  He loves showing off his expressions.
